Who am I?
As a mental health clinician, I am dedicated to helping others achieve personal growth. I work in Texas as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (License Number 205804). I hold a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in marriage and family therapy from Abilene Christian University. I am pursuing a doctorate in the same field at National University. Under the guidance of Dr. Lisa Powell, I assist a wide range of clients, from children to seniors, each with their own unique experiences. I have a special focus on helping adults dealing with sexual trauma, domestic violence, substance use, depression, and anxiety.
I am certified:
as a Crisis Advocate at the Regional Victims Crisis Center, a local non-profit that assists victims of sexual assault and violent crimes in Abilene and nearby areas,
in Solution Based Casework,
Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for health and behavioral health professionals,
Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) for suicide prevention,
CPR, and
Mental Health First Aid
